It is a far longer target than any other human would ever really have. They usually trim a pet's mane so that it was a 'reasonable' length as well. If Judar knew a single thing about animals, he would've known that he was bringing in a swaying target for any creature that liked to pounce and track interesting things that swayed and danced around from movement and gravity.
Instead he stops dead in his tracks at feeling the braid getting smacked, still taking another second before looking over at the culprit. At first Judar started to dismiss, but put him to the side, as there didn't seem to be interest on the cat's part. (Though it's not as if there were going to be any awake to show any, either.) Did the hair really matter that much to some animal?
"What?" It's almost a challenge as he turns better to the enclosure, momentarily removing the braid from reach. Just for a bit as he reached behind him for his braid, lifting and bringing it up and closer. Given that the length was past his calves, there was still more than enough to sway around and get within reach. "This is what you want?"
