Azwel listens to all of that, his expression growing progressively more incredulous until his eyebrows threaten to twirl around each other and run off with his ears. He takes a breath to speak but thinks better of it, especially when the youth runs off in a cloud of dust.
A small breeze blows.
"I didn't leave the lab much," Azwel confesses with a shrug. The scenery would have fallen over were it capable of doing so.
He looks at Vash again when he speaks and appears oddly... conflicted.
"I didn't think you did. People who do that sort of thing have a scent to them that you haven't got." A beat. "I'll admit I'm a little sad that you won't keep me. You seem kind."
