Azwel watches him, upside-down, as he makes his way to the table, his expression wide-eyed and innocent. So, no, he didn't leave any. But when Vash asks his question Azwel rolls off the sofa and then sits on it in a manner maybe approaching normal. For the moment.
"It wasn't in this town, unfortunately," he says. "But in the city not far from here I worked as a chemist. Then the lab burned down. Some kind of fighting happened, I was told. Well, I wanted to get out and see a few more places, anyway, so I came here. I was hoping to find work here, but the townies don't take well to my kind, it seems." He huffs. "I've worked in brothels, but I'd gotten tired of that, hence the chemistry."
