"Felih," he repeats, smiling. "Well, I just may need a name to shout out if we do this again, and I hope we do," he says shamelessly, with a flick of his eyebrows. This man would probably flirt in his sleep.

They walk for a short distance further until he stops at another door, pushing it open. The room itself is dimly lit, but Azwel pulls the cloth from the orb and places it in a frame that curves around it in a swirl of metal and crystal. The crystal glows, and the light travels down lines inset into the wall to the floor and then along other lines, branching out into the chamber. Every time the light reaches a node it causes another light to flicker and then glow, until the entire area is alight from countless nodes in the floor and walls.

This light reveals a beautifully-constructed array of metal cylinders, of glass and crystal, of a complex chain of gears meant to change the position of all these components--a massive telescope. There's a deep rumble as the ceiling opens up, showing them a slice of sky aflame with sunset.

Azwel leans casually against the doorframe, waiting to see what reaction Felih will have.
