"They--" He stops. Tears threatening to come back. He doesn't continue until after a few deep breaths and he's sure he won't start crying again. "They studied her until they killed her." His muscles grow tense with his anger and frustration. He hadn't even been alive, but he hates how he hadn't been there for her. "Then they chopped her up and put her in jars. JarS." Now the tears do start again as he puts emphasis on that 's'. "Like her life, who she was, didn't matter at all to them."
